Your bike knows when someone touches it. So do you.

The Raleigh ONE has a built-in alarm system that runs through the app. When the bike is armed, either manually through the app or automatically via Auto Arm after switching it off, it's watching. 

The moment someone moves it, tilts it, or tampers with it, three things happen simultaneously: 

• The alarm will start making sound which will get louder every few seconds still the Raleigh ONE stands still again. 

• The lights begin flashing. 

• You receive a push notification on your phone through the app. (Only applicable for Core and Icon members) 

Manual arming via the app 

Open the Raleigh app, switch the arm toggle, and it's armed. Three seconds.  

Auto Arm 

Set it once in the app. When the bike detects it's stationary and you've walked away, it arms itself. Most riders switch to this setting within the first week and never look back. 

Open app > Settings > toggle on ‘auto arm’ 

The bike alarm is not a replacement for a physical lock. Use both. 

What it is: an early warning system. A layer of protection that a standard lock can't offer, because a standard lock has no idea it's being attacked until it's too late. 

The alarm creates a window, time to act, time to call, time to share a location with someone who can help. And the sound and flashing lights alone are often enough. Opportunistic theft is exactly that: opportunistic. Noise and attention are its enemy. 

Urban bike theft is not a niche problem. In the Netherlands, around 300,000 bikes are stolen every year. In Germany the numbers are similarly high. 

The majority are never recovered, not because they can't be found, but because by the time the owner realizes the bike is gone, it's already too late to act.
